Native American Small Businesses Receive $700,000 in Grant Funding from SBA

U.S. Small Business Administration - 10/2015

The U.S. Small Business Administration has awarded $700,000 in grant funding for projects promoting the development, and long-term survival of Native American businesses eligible under the SBA's 7(j) Management and Technical Assistance Program.

The SBA's 7(j) Program assists in providing specialized management and technical assistance to socially and economically disadvantaged small business owners.  Areas of assistance include operational planning and management; marketing, business development and financial analysis.

The awardees demonstrated the capacity to provide management and technical assistance services to up and coming businesses.
