Capacity-Building for Non-Profits

Hi΄ilei Aloha assists Native Hawaiian nonprofits and Hawaiian-serving organizations to build, enhance, and support their organizational capacity to deliver on their missions.  Our nonprofit capacity-building services cover a wide range of  topics:  organizational assessments, leadership development, board governance, strategic planning, budgeting and financial management, administrative and internal control systems, funding and resource development, and grant compliance. Our services are customized to the specific needs of our clients based on organizational assessments.  We also provide training workshops.

We assist organizations at any stage of development – from groups just getting started to well-established nonprofit organizations.

Organizational Assessment
The first step is to take an organizational assessment.
The assessment will help to identify your organization’s “life stage” in the organizational development process. There are 5 stages of a nonprofit based on the identified needs from your organization’s assessment, we will help you identify your next steps.  For example, we may suggest that you seek board training or help with strategic planning.
